Another AFL player has joined the Hitz Sports team.  Michael Affleck, the starting Quarterback for the Utah Blaze this upcoming season adds to the list of talented AFL players to sign in the past few weeks.  Michael, who finished up his collegiate career at Utah State, will enter his first year in the AFL.  However, he is no rookie to professional indoor football spending the last two years in the AIFA, where he experienced tremendous success last year.  In 2009 he guided the Utah Valley Thunder of the AIFA to an 11-4 record and a berth in the playoffs. He led the league in passing efficiency at 109.6, was 2nd in the league in passing yards (3,037), and 3rd in touchdown passes (58), as well as rushing for 15 touchdowns.  Michael will look to carry over his success into the AFL starting on April 9th when he leads the Utah Blaze against the Spokane Shock in the season opener.
