Current: Watkins is currently signed with the Cleveland Gladiators for the upcoming 2010 season.

AFL Career Notes: Watkins pent the 2008 season with the Grand Rapids Rampage, appearing in nine games at fullback. He had eight carries for 21 yards and one touchdown while catching seven passes for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Additional Career Notes: Helped the Augusta Spartans of the World Indoor Football League to the World Indoor Bowl title in 2007, the league’s only year of existence. Was named to the All-WIFL Team in 2007.

Training Camps: Participated in training camp with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills in 2003 and the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks in 2002.

College: Watkins was a four-year (1998-2001) starter at Clemson University, playing at three different positions over his career. Upon graduation, he ranked sixth in total snaps played at Clemson. As a senior he was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Honorable Mention selection.

High School: TJ played football at North Augusta (S.C.) High School as a tight end. While there he was also a highly recruited baseball player in both the catcher and pitcher positions.
