Current: Signed to play for the Dallas Vigilantes of the AFL for the upcoming 2010 season, recently signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL

Professional Career:

2002-2004: Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2002 by the Kansas City Chiefs where he spent most of his time there on the practice squad.  He then moved on to play for the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers practice squads, appearing in one game for the 49ers.

2005: Played for the New Orleans VooDoo of the AFL where he was named to the All-Rookie Team after amassing 13.5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 FF’s and 1 fumble recovery on the year.

2006: Played for the Kansas City Brigade of the AFL accounting for 10.5 tackles and 0.5 sacks.

2007: Returned to New Orleans for the 2007 season recording 18.5 tackles for the year.

2008: Played for the Columbus Destroyers of the AFL recording 29.5 tackles, 5 Sacks, and 2 FFs

2009: Played for the Billings Outlaws of the IFL after the AFL folded in 2009 where he earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in the league.  He led the league with 12 sacks, and third in the league with 16.5 tackles for loss.  A few weeks after the season was over, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL signed Michael and played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where he recorded 8 tackles in 2 games.
